Youth Leadership

“India is a country of youth. About 54 per cent of the country’s population is under 25 years of age and 72 per cent of the total population is under 35 years of age. If we want to make democracy meaningful, more and more young people need to be active and participate in the process of decision making and change. The youth of the country think that the country should develop and progress according to their aspirations and dreams. For that to happen, we need leadership that understands the issue and aligns itself with the aspirations of the youth.

Participation is the core of democracy. Therefore, in order to progress as a democratic nation, leadership from the youth is needed. The younger generation needs to pay attention when thinking about the country’s policies and development plans. We need to take the initiative to make a difference in the country.
